Since Brooklyn’s getting dissed for the second year in a row by the Macy’s fireworks show, are you still checking them out? Or maybe you’ll be too exhausted from the 95th annual hot dog eating contest out at Coney Island. Or maybe the Brooklyn Museum’s Target First Saturdays? I’ve got plans! They are awesome plans! Emily and I are seeing the Cyclones play on Sat and will spend the entire day at Coney. On Sunday we’re brewing an Independence Beer! (Style suggestions welcome). Monday is a day to do whatever!

i’m straight up chillin. no real plans. i plan on eating some grilled meat and drinking some beers. maybe watch some fireworks? where are the best views from brooklyn?
